Since this blog, and idea’s inception my opinion and view on business has changed dramatically. I started this idea broke, talented, and money hungry.

Now I’ve changed how I write, how I think about this idea, and how I want to encompass all aspects of becoming a millionaire by the time I’m 21.

I will be doing a lot of refining on the blog, and update posts to let you know what to expect, and when to expect it.

“When I was your age, Pluto was a Planet.”

“Drop it like it’s Pluto.”

“Nobody knows what the internet will look like in 5 years.”

“The internet is gay.”

I just realized that I post my articles in wayyy to many categories, and it looks ridiculous. I’m going to do some serious category … recategorization in the next few weeks.

The project that has been sucking all of my time will be done on monday, so you can look forward to me writing about the same as I do now ;) just kidding.

I don’t even know who “you” are, but I like you. I like you very much. Nice calves.

I also have some great stories to “fully disclose” to you guys. I apologize though, I can’t mention names or dates, but I can generize and give you a good dose of the gist.

In other news, I got 2 new projects from odesk.com, very cool projects. I will ask if I can post the URL’s and give the details, probably not, but they’re helping me meet my goal.

oDesk.com is a great website for freelancers to get jobs quickly, and easily. It took me about an hour to setup my account and within 30 minutes I had 2 job interviews (which is the jobs I’m currently doing now.) and I’m super pumped.

Mike Krzyzewski – “The truth is that many people set rules to keep from making decisions.”

Read it, read it all the way through. Don’t skim, don’t guess, don’t think. If it’s all there, read it all. Why would you ignore certain paragraphs, or key words? Read it all, and read it twice. Read it again.

Be sure to read more carefully next time.

A note to self.

I have no idea where this jump came from, but I went from having about 5-30 views a day to 100-200. The wordpress blog stats aren’t showing me details either, but it is showing me a graph. Check it out.

Traffic

I think the traffic is dually owed to Google, Yahoo, and MSN searches but usually the blog stats report search keywords, and how they got here. I only have 5 hits from search engines/referrers. To say the least I’m confused, but I don’t really mind the traffic. I just hope they’re actual people that want to read my blog, not bots scanning because I have the keyword “iphone” a few times here and there.

Go traffic!

I also wanted to note that the computer business will be full time for me, but I’ve written software that I can really dispurse through several computers to fix them on the fly without me needing to be there physically. This allows me to fix x amount of computers (that have the same problem, of course) quickly.

This businesses purpose is to solely create income, and help fund several websites that are already in development for this area specifically, and the entire internet.

Just a note.

So I’ve been very busy because some unexpected things happened with a current project that I’m working on, so I have to be on call in a way.

I decided that I’m not going to force myself to write in this blog when I don’t have any business news because then it would just be full of useless posts that I forced myself to write, and nothing contextual, or even useful.

My friend and I are going to start fixing computers where I live. We live in a sort of cross-metropolitan where 6 cities connect to form one, it’s pretty cool, but technology is just beginning to be imminent, and we think that we have an early start in this market. Geek Squad is already here, but I’ve been fixing computers for friends for years, and actually for hundreds of people that weren’t friends I just never incorporated, so that’s what we’re going to do.

On top of not having a business name or an overall plan for the service I was providing in the past, I never even advertised or had business cards. I stilled fixed at least 50-100 computers a year. I also charged $30 an hour, I used to charge $120 an hour, but I think now because of the condition the market is in, we’ve agreed on $60 an hour to be competitive, and stay profitable.

Because I’m primarily a software developer/web designer we will be offering our main service as PC/Mac repair. Over that, we will offer web solutions like hosting, support, web design, print design, marketing, etc.

As well as residential services like setting up wi-fi, home networking, file sharing, and computer services we will be offering business services the same as residential, but we will offer benefits like monthly retainers, training, phoen support, etc.

We will also be offering some non-traditional services like a Premium rate phone number for technical support, email based support for a fee, and live support via a chat program on our website. This will all be charged but it seems the most effective because there will be 4 of us to start off.

There’s your update. I will write again soon.

I finished my taxes. Man, that was scary.

More on this later.

I’ve been extremely busy with work, and moving. I finished what I’ve referred to as “project satan” in the past and it’s done. Now we’re just in the Q&A process to straighten out a few kinks. That’s literally all I’ve been working on the past week and a half, that and I went to new york last week to meet with a future client. I’m in new york right now and I met with two future clients, one wanting me to consult, and the other needing a customized media management system.

In the process of all of this work, I had to move out of the house I was currently living in, and I moved to a new house with a friend of mine. All in a week and a half.

Now I’m in new york about to fly out tomorrow back home.  I had a good time in new york, met a lot of people, got a lot of future business, and closed a lot of past business. I have a lot of fresh ideas, but I’m extremely tired right now and I just realized I said I was going to update on monday the last time I got back from new york (april 1st), but got caught up. I’m updating now just to let everyone know the latest news and info. I have created drafts for each of my individual ideas and will be posting them soon.

I’m also trying to get more organized to writing in this blog regularly regardless of my schedule, so that should be fun to discipline myself. A lot happens, and I don’t write about it so I’m going to break that habit.
